My Next Thirty Years :: Swanson Sundays {Gainesville Photographer}

I woke up this morning with the Tim MCGraw sing in my head- “My Next Thirty Years.”  At 7:56 this morning I officially entered my third decade of life.  Hard to believe!  I celebrated this momentous occasion by taking a trip to Cape Coral in beautiful Southwest Florida with Shawn and Madalyn, dogs in tow.  Friday we spend on Sanibel and Captiva Island and of course made a pit stop at the beach where Madalyn couldn’t help but take her “wading” a bit far into the freezing cold water.  Here’s a few snaps from our mini vacation.

Of course by the time we left “wading” had become “splashing” had become practically swimming. We had a blast! I am so blessed to have been able to spend this birthday with those who matter most to me : my family. Thanks to all of my family, friends, and wonderful clients for making this birthday so special!

February Fashion Friday {Gainesville Photographer}

Because so many clients ask me “what in the world should I wear?!” I have decided that I will start doing Fashion Friday posts here on the blog to give you some ideas for each season.

Here are some adorable Spring outfits from Gap and Old Navy.

Great ideas, David and I might just show up in the his and her outfits you put on here :) I’m going to try and find some cute props to bring for shelby this time too…

Twins :: 11 Days {Gainesville Newborn Photographer}

Imagine the surprise these parents had when they went for their BIG ultrasound to see if they were shopping for pink or blue and found out they needed both pink AND blue! That’s right- they were expecting twins! And here the little darlings are at 11 days old. These are just a few of many favorites.

Baby S is almost a pound bigger then her brother Baby C.

And some of the sweet little ones cuddling together.

And little Baby C by himself.

S Family I hope you are getting some much needed rest these days! Your little ones are so adorable and thanks for letting me come over and cuddle them! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Josi and Brandon :: Engaged! {Gainesville Engagement Photographer}

Josi and Brandon are simply put one of the sweetest couples that I have ever met. We met this past week in beautiful Downtown Alachua for their engagement session. They will be married on April 10 here in Gainesville Florida at the Rustic Manor and I can’t wait for their wedding!

Here are just a few favorites with a slideshow of some more favorites at the end!

I love when brides to be have nontraditional rings. Brandon gets the credit for picking this one out all by himself!

Perhaps my favorite thing about Downtown Alachua is spots like this and the light hits just right.

Josi is going to be such a beautiful bride.

And Brandon isn’t too bad himself….

And of course we had to make a trip out to the railroad tracks at sunset….

Another favorite thing about Downtown Alachua- the light posts!

Here is a slideshow of more favorites from their session. Josi and Brandon I had a great time with you guys and I can’t wait for your wedding!
