So… this is going to be a little bit different of a contest AND a giveaway. In a few weeks we will be having our first photo contest from previous sessions, and I would LOVE my readers to let me know some of their favorite images that Sweet Serendipity has captured over the last several months. So, here is where YOU come in. I invite you to look back through the blog (I imported as many old JLS Photography posts over here as space would allow!) and pick your favorite image from a session in 2009. You can tell me the post title, and then a brief description of the post. I am going to use these nominated pics for Sweet Serendipity’s first photo contest while will take place October 1st – 5th. The winning image will be presented to the client as a beautiful mounted 11 x 14 print. The runner up will receive an 8 x 10 as well.
The only catch- you CANNOT nominate your own photo. And one nomination per person, please. Since Sweet Serendipity’s tagline is “Capturing Life’s Unexpected Moments”, the contest is entitled “Life’s Unexpected Moments.”
Go ahead and post your nomination here… and the most nominated photos will be entered into the contest on 10/1.
And of course…. you want to know what the prize is! I am going to give away two prizes for this contest. If you are a NEW client, you will be registered to win a complimentary session. If you are an EXISTING client, you will be registered to win a proof set, one of the new products that Sweet Serendipity will be offering. A proof set is a boxed set of 4 x 6 images from your session. Choose your favorite 50 images (or duplicates of a lesser number of images) and you will receive them in a fabulous metal tin. This is perfect for holiday gift giving. The proof set can be from a previous session or one that you schedule in the future.
To summarize- pick your favorite image, tell me the blog entry title and a brief description. There will be 2 winners – one NEW client will win a complimentary session. One EXISTING client will win a complimentary boxed proof set. Both prizes are a $100 value!

great site… as a former professional photographer, I would rate your pictures as great… especially liked the action photo “jump” and the photos of expecting moms… you have captured the essence of their maternity… I would like to see the fathers included in some way in these shots… Best of luck (luck is where opportunity meets preparedness)

I’m Maddie’s proud daddy so my vote doesn’t count, but I just wanted to say thanks to Jaime for everything that she does. She is extremely talented and we feel so lucky to have found her!

I love the pic of Baby A from the “Brand New” post on July 25th. The pic where she’s leaning on her hand and her sweet little face is smooshed sideways. Seems to fit the “Unexpected Moments” theme.

I love the three shots that just show the outline of Tiffany and Matt and her belly. It is so sweet and cute! I had no idea people took ‘anxiously awaiting’ pictures and I am now going to have to do the same. The picture of him kissing her belly is so sweet!
My favorite is one of Madalyn at Kanapaha touching a butterfly. What an amazing shot and the time was perfect! It was one of those unexpected moments and you captured it just right. The photograph looks so natural and is a beatutiful moment…Madalyn being curious and a kid.

I like the picture of Madelyn Thomas in her three month session (gummy grins blog) where she has the beanie on her head! I think it captured Maddie’s personality perfectly.
Although little Madelyn looks adorable in all her pictures, my favorite of the Thomas family is actually the one of Tiffany in Anxiously Awaiting (http://blog.sweetserendipityphotography.com/?p=445) in the white dress and green necklace leaning against a tree. What woman wouldn’t want to remember looking that beautiful while they’re pregnant?!

My favorite photo is of Zofia Huszcza, the 4th one under “I cant believe she is 1″ album. Beautiful blue eyes and precious face! This one should totally win!
My favorite photo is from “Gummy Grins Galore/Gainesville Baby Photographer.” Madelyn at 3 months wearing that adorable hat with the pink bow. I love that it is close up and shows her beautiful eyes.

“Hard to believe she’s 1″ and 4th picture down is my pick! Truly a heart-breaker to be OR an angel in the making.
I love the picture of Shannon right before she walked down the aisle. It was really an ‘unexpected moment’ the way you caught her inhaling right before. As if she was trying to calm her nerves, you really captured the essence of that moment.
I know Taylor so I’m probably biased, but I loved the first picture from Taylor Class of 2010 where’s she’s in the field of wildflowers and jumping about four feet off the ground. Just so much joy in that photo!
