I hate too many to name just like many others but one of my favorites is when Carrie has to downsize because Aiden moves in and he constantly asks where shes going, what she is doing, how’d it go, yada yada yada! honestly, that one sticks out because someone made me downsize but I love them ALL!

Posted to facebook as well :)

What I love most about Sex and the City is the fact that it portrays beautiful, smart, successful, independent women doing their own thing! Times are changing and we have entered a time where it’s okay for women to be independent and act like men and that’s AWESOME! The success of Sex and the City just shows that the double standards are slowly fading! <3 (SN-I reposted this link!)

My favorite SATC moment is in the first movie when Charlotte unknowingly drinks the water when the girls on are Carrie’s non-honeymoon in Mexico. The result of this mistake is so hilarious and it just goes to show that true friends can always make you laugh! :)

My favorite thing about SATC is Carrie and her obsession with shoes! I LOVE shoes and she has the best shoes!! I love how she doesn’t care how much or how many she has, she just gets them! haha. PS> I reposted on my FB page :) great contest!!

Josi - May 30, 2010 - 1:03 pm

My favorite SATC moment is when Carrie spends 40,000 on shoes and can’t get a loan to buy out the co-op from Aidan. That is definitely something I would do:)

The thing I like most about Sex and the City (the tv show) is its edge, especially for its time. No other show openly broadcast women talking about their sexuality. Apart from the edge, I really enjoyed the portrayal of friendship between several very different women.

I don’t know how, but the writers were also able to put in a lot of fun and humor, which brings me to my favorite moment in the show…

Miranda’s boss gives her special attention because he thinks she is a lesbian, and he wants to have lesbians in his posh dinner party group. Miranda plays the part for a bit and figures, what the heck, why don’t I try out women. So she kisses her date and Miranda just says, “Yep, definitely straight,” and her date just says “Yeah.”

Other than that, I like when Aidan tells Carrie that they can get “Maui-ed.”

This is such a fun idea- I hope everyone enjoys the 2nd movie!

First of all my actual favorite scene is the opening clip for all of the episodes, it was so fun and flirty and made you just sit there smilling waiting for the new episode to begin, but besides that my favorite scene is where Carrie is sitting in a restaurant with Miranda and trying to figure our how she is going to get a loan for her place and can’t seem to figure out where all her money has gone. Miranda points out that she has 100 shoes all of them about $400, if she sold them then there is her loan. Carrie misscalculates and says that thats only $4,000. Miranda corrects here saying its $40,000. Carrie flips out about the amount she has spent on shoes and says
“I am literally going to be the old woman who lives in her shoes!” That line was amazing and sums up Carrie pretty well. After that miranda pulls her own finger and farts and goes “I just pulled my own finger, I’m a walking whoopycushion.”
So there goes =) My favorite scenes.
P.S I posted it to my facebook

Scottie Daquila - May 27, 2010 - 6:49 pm

My favorite moment, the last episode and last scene where Carrie is walking down the street and her phone rings and she looks down and it reveals Mr. Big’s name, John! It melted my heart and was a perfect ending to a great story!!

What a creative give-away. Love it Jaime!! I am posting on FB right now!!

I love that you are having this! I absolutely lived for SATC when it was on TV and I still have my nights where I break out the wine glasses and my series collection and veg out on my couch.I have to say one of my favourite moments was when Charlotte see’s Harry at that Jewish mixer she decides to apologize and plead her case for him to return. He tells her “Well that’s just not good enough!” and then gets on one knee, pulls out a ring and proposes to her. I still cry when I see that episode. :)

Marti - May 27, 2010 - 10:46 am

Absolute best SATC tv show moment is in the last episode when Carrie decides to leave Alexander in Paris and at the check out desk her necklace breaks and she bends over to pick it up and Mr. Big is standing there. (My heart melts a little every time I watch it) Absolute best movie moment is when Carrie is packing all of her things up to move and Samantha walks into her apartment with not one but two bottles of champagne, reminds me of my 3 best friends and the face she makes is my best friend Josi’s face for sure.
I love that you are doing this! Sex and the City is my addiction:)

Laura Y - May 27, 2010 - 8:44 am

I’ve been a huge loyal fan of the show…every episode is incredible! The first movie was awesome…so many memorable scenes….

Mr. Big: We’re getting married. Should we get you a diamond?
Carrie Bradshaw: No. No. Just get me a really big closet.

I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE THE SECOND SATC MOVIE!!

Jaime - May 27, 2010 - 8:30 am

I LOVE that part! So funny!

Jaimi Bello - May 27, 2010 - 8:09 am
