One of my dear clients Carrie needed a new photo for her business cards with Swift Creek Realty, so of course I was thrilled when she asked me to do them. Here is a quick sneak peek!

It makes me so very sad to edit these because they are one of my closest friends who decided to up and move to Iowa on me! I miss her like crazy! Seriously, Dawn is an amazing photographer who recently moved to Iowa and needed some headshots for her new website. We did a quickie headshot session just before she moved and I am so excited to share the photos we got. Not only is Dawn absolutely gorgeous, but she is also one of the most kind hearted people you will ever meet. I was so pleased with how these turned out and I hope she loves them as well!

I am so very, very excited to introduce you to Sweet Serendipity Photography’s newest team member. Adrianna is an aspiring photographer who has come on board as my new intern for the Summer and Fall of 2011. She shoots a Nikon D700 (I’ll forgive her for that one!) and loves everything to do with babies and weddings. It has been so wonderful having her around at sessions and weddings and I can’t wait for you all to meet her.

While at Flagler Beach a few weeks ago for a family session we took about 5 minutes to snap some quick photos of her. Isn’t she adorable?!

This was by far the craziest weekend that I have ever experienced! It started Thursday with a trip over to Saint Augustine for a large family session for some very dear clients, then back to Gainesville to pick up my friend Brie from Brie Homer Photography. Brie came for a working vacation this weekend- I had three weddings in four days and she was nice enough to come second shoot for me!

Friday was Ashley and Jeremy’s wedding at Parkview Baptist Church and the Best Western Gateway Grand. Saturday Olivia and John were married at the Thomas Center in Downtown Gainesville, then Sunday we got to rest! Monday morning we were up bright and early for Mallori and Dan’s wedding at Sweetwater Branch Inn.

This weekend would not have been possible without the help of an awesome team! We were joined by my intern Adrianna on Friday, Saturday and Monday. Saturday and Monday Misty also helped us out and it is oh so much appreciated!

The next few weeks will be filled with many, many sneak peeks! I am so excited to share these images!

And what would a day off be without a mini photo session? Sunday the light was just so gorgeous that I had to take advantage of it for some headshots of Brie!

I also took advantage of having Brie around to tackle Nicholas’ 6 month photos. Yup- he is SIX MONTHS! Here are two favorites from our quickie session.

And of course we had to get one with big sister!

This past weekend I met up with the beautiful Cady Dolan for a commercial session for photos for the end of the year issue of Designing Wealth Magazine. The tag line for this issue of the magazine will be “A World of Opportunitues.” Here are a few favorites from the session…. and I always look forward to seeing the photo that Cady and the publishing company choose!

I am headed out of town to the beautiful Tampa Bay area for the weekend for photo sessions, but before I left I wanted to share this magazine cover that I photographed in August of this year. One of the clients I am meeting with this weekend is Cady who puts the magazine out for her investment clients. I can’t wait to share the ideas we are working on for the December/ January issue!

Cady is an old friend from high school who, through the magic of Facebook, saw my photos and decided that she wanted me to photograph her next cover for a quarterly magazine she sends to her clients. So after a few days that were postponed due to rain she finally managed to make the trip to Gainesville for our session.

Last week I had the pleasure of joining forces with Shena from Platinum Digital Video and G-nys Entertainment for an event at a local Kangaroo convenience store called Freeze The Swamp. The campaign was about Icee beverages joining forces with Kangaroo Stores in Gainesville and offering orange and blue Icees!

Albert, Alberta and the Icee Bear were in attendance along with some local citizens and Kangaroo employees. Here are a few photos from the event, and to check out more about the campaign check out Kangaroo’s Facebook Page!
