This super adorable family decided that what they wanted for an anniversary session was a photography session to celebrate their family and their marriage. What a fun idea! Here are some favorites.

Ashley’s boyfriend Corey was actually the one who contacted me because he wanted to buy a session for Ashley as a gift. What a guy! We met this past weekend in Downtown Alachua for her senior portraits and Corey even joined in for a few. They are seriously the cutest things EVER. It was so hard for me to narrow down a sneak peek for them because honestly- the camera adores Ashley! Here are a few of many, many favorites!

Rosa and Jackie are so obviously crazy about each other that you can’t help but smile when you are around with him. Jackie recently surprised Rosa with a promise ring and to celebrate the occasion we met for some couple portraits on UF campus at the Baughman Center. Here are a few favorites from the session.

Tonight I had a Romance style session with the World’s Cutest Couple. Elizabeth and Luke have been dating for a little over a year and are everything high school sweethearts are supposed to be- young and oh so crazy about each other. In August they will be going to college in two different states so they wanted a photo session so they had some professional pictures to decorate their college dorm rooms with. I think that it is just about the sweetest thing ever and brought back so many memories of me at eighteen looking forward to the University of Florida in the Fall.

I honestly cannot tell you how many times people have said to me “I wish I could get married again so I could have photos taken by you.” To an artist that is truly an amazing compliment, and one that means so much to me to hear from family and friends. So that got me thinking…. who says that you have to have a wedding to have a romantic photography session.

JLS Photography is pleased to introduce the Romance Session. This engagement/ wedding style session features you and your special someone at your most intimate moments. These sessions will take place on location in some of the locations that you have seen featured on this blog, or in a place that is special to you. Romance sessions can be used for couples – either married, engaged, or just deeply committed to each other- who want to have photographs that show beautiful your love is. Romance sessions are also perfect for couples who have small weddings or civil ceremonies who choose not to hire a photographer for their event but would like to have portraits.

Romance sessions can also replace the Trash the Dress informal sessions that take place after a wedding as a more informal portrait session of the bride and groom.

Romance Sessions take place on location and last up to two hours
Standard session fee applies ($100 plus applicable sales tax)
After the session you will have access to your online gallery for a la carte or print package ordering.
