Kyle and Katie actually met in high school and Kyle was a good friend of Katie’s younger brother so it was only natural that they would hang out in the same group. Then the two grew closer and began dating… and the rest, as they say, is history. They will be married on September 3rd and we met this past weekend for engagement photos in Downtown Alachua. The couple has a daughter who joined us for some family photos and boy is she a cutie pie!

Sarah and Paul have the sort of ease about them that a couple develops when they are truly comfortable around each other. You only have to spend a few minutes with these two to be able to see how deeply in love they are. I met them for the first time at their engagement session a few weeks ago and within moments I knew that their session would be a tremendous amount of fun. They are planning a Southern themed wedding complete with Mason jars and fried chicken and I love every last detail.

Cristina and Mitch will be married in May of 2010 at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens. While her parents live in Gainesville, the two of them actually live in Philadelphia so we scheduled their session while they were in town visiting for the holidays. They are such a fun, easy-going couple- we had lots of fun and laughs during their engagement session at Cellon Oak Park. Here are just a few of many favorites!

Cristina and Mitch – I had a great time with you guys the other day! I hope you love your sneak peek and I can’t wait for your wedding!

Rachel and Dan called me months ago to schedule their maternity and newborn sessions- when Rachel was just 10 weeks pregnant! So after many months of waiting to meet them we finally had their session this past Saturday evening. They had a very special place in mind- a little known park in NW Alachua County that is home to one of the state’s oldest Oak trees. The tree was gorgeous and the location was filled with beautiful late afternoon light.

Rachel and Dan are so obviously in love- and it was so wonderful being able to celebrate that by capturing this special time in their lives. They are expecting a baby girl at the very beginning of 2010- and are hoping for a New Years baby! I can’t help but approve their name choice as well- they are planning to name her Madalyn Jean (hey, I am super partial to that name because it is my daughter’s name!)

Rachel and Dan, it was so wonderful to finally meet you, and Rachel- you are so fantastically beautiful! Pregnancy certainly agrees with you. I can’t wait to meet your little princess! Hope you enjoy your (very long!) sneak peek!
