Shelby is also a Senior Rep for Sweet Serendipity Photography for the class of 2011. She joined us in Downtown Alachua this past Friday evening for her mini session. Senior Reps receive both a mini session over the summer and then a full senior session in early 2011. Here are some favorites from her session.

When Sex And The City opened up in Gainesville, Sweet Serendipity Photography hosted a contest to win a urban glam session. The lucky winner was Christina Jobes and this past weekend I met with her and three of her friends in Downtown Gainesville for their session. The ladies all looked fabulous and dressed perfectly for the occasion. Here is an extra long sneak peek because I had so many favorites I wanted to share!

So there are many, many, many reasons why I love my clients…. and I especially love when they come back for yearly sessions and I get to watch their little ones grow up. I first started photographing the H Family’s children almost two years ago and I look forward to our sessions because I get to see how big the kids are getting! Last year we did their summer session at their home, and this year we decided to head out to the wildflower field for their family photos. Here are a few favorites from their session.

I love doing work for other photographers! It is nice to be able to have a client who understands lighting and posing as well, and when two heads are put together during a session the results are spectacular! Dawn and her adorable family met with me last week in beautiful Downtown Alachua for an urban themed maternity session. Baby #2- a girl- will be here in a few weeks and I know I can’t wait to meet her!

Stephanie and Lonnie :: Engaged! | Gainesville Engagement Photographer

Stephanie and Lonnie had a chance meeting one evening while in line for a basketball at the University of Florida. They ended up watching that game, and many others, together during the course of their relationship. They also enjoy meeting at Connestogas in Downtown Alachua for a date night. One one of these date nights Lonnie surprised Stephanie with an engagement ring. When they told me this story I knew that we had to have their Engagement Session in Downtown Alachua because it is such an important place to them. They are planning a wedding for July of 2010.

After a cancellation due to weather (rain and Engagement Sessions DO NOT MIX!) we finally were able to meet in Alachua for their sunset engagement session. It is easy to see after just a few minutes around them that they are absolutely crazy in love with each other. They are so relaxed and easy going that our session was a blast. Here are a few favorites from their day and a slideshow of more.

Lonnie had just bought daisies for Stephanie and they brought them along for the session. Daisies are her favorite flowers and they will be their wedding flower as well.

Josi and Brandon :: Engaged! {Gainesville Engagement Photographer}

Josi and Brandon are simply put one of the sweetest couples that I have ever met. We met this past week in beautiful Downtown Alachua for their engagement session. They will be married on April 10 here in Gainesville Florida at the Rustic Manor and I can’t wait for their wedding!

I love when brides to be have nontraditional rings. Brandon gets the credit for picking this one out all by himself!

Perhaps my favorite thing about Downtown Alachua is spots like this and the light hits just right.

Josi is going to be such a beautiful bride.

More from Anna and Justin’s beautiful wedding last weekend. I am slowly making my way through the galleries, so wanted to share some of the beautiful bride and groom. I love when couples are easy going and are up for anything. From talking with Anna about her wedding in Downtown Alachua I had so many ideas in my head that I wanted to try with them, and I am blessed with clients who are wiling to let me try some new things. Here are some of my favorites of the bride and groom!

I know I used this picture in a previous post but since I LOVE it so much I wanted to share it again!

And another favorite I am sharing again because their shoes were super cool!

Love these little moments- immediately after the ceremony when they are just enjoying being husband and wife.

This one is quickly becoming a signature shot and one that couples request often.

Since we were in Alachua, home of the infamous railroad tracks, Anna and Justin wanted to head out there for some of their pictures.

Downtown Alachua has some of the most amazing architecture in this area. The contrast of the archway and the brick with their wedding garb amazes me.

Sweet Sunday Afternoon With The Y Family! | Gainesville Family Photographer

Last Sunday I spent the late afternoon with this super fun family in Downtown Alachua. I am the luckiest photographer in the world because I have such beautiful clients. These two little girls were absolutely stunning- and so fun to photograph! They are almost three and almost one- such cute ages! We visited some of my favorite locations for family photos.

This family had the BEST idea for planning their wardrobe and I just have to share it. The Mom said she picked one item that she absolutely LOVED (which was their youngest’s jacket) and then build the rest of the family’s outfits around them. It certainly worked out well and they showed up in shades of brown and pink- definitely having the idea of “coordinating outfits” down to a science.

Here is their oldest- doesnt she have the most radiant hair?

And the little one…. looks like she will be a redhead too!
