I love to give back.  There is something very special about being able to donate services, and something even more special when you are able to donate to someone who has done something for someone else.  Last year Daphne from the Alachua County Mamas contacted me about donating some gift certificates to a raffle they had for March of Dimes.  I donated some gift certificates to be raffled off, and also donated a session for the mom who raised the most money for the March of Dimes.  Jennie was that winner and we met up earlier this week at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens for a session with her darling family.

Mother nature wasn’t overly cooperative and about 20 minutes into our session the skies opened up.  We ran for cover and Jennie and her family were troopers about dealing with the rain.  We all got soaked, but it did allow time for some puddle jumping which I know little E enjoyed!

Miss Emma has to be one of the cutest little girls I have ever photographed and she absolutely hammed it up for the camera! Her parents wanted to do a session in celebration of her first birthday. We met this morning at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens for her session. Here are a few of many favorites from our session.

So almost two years ago I had the pleasure of meeting the W family when their daughter Morgan was turning one. Flash forward to now and Morgan is almost three and a big sister to 6 month old Kaden! We met at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens this past weekend for some photos of the kids and family portraits. Here are a few favorites from our session…

W Family – it was great seeing you guys again! Your little ones are so adorable and did great at our session!

I actually met Megan and Jimmy ten years ago when we all attended the University of Florida together. Wow how time flies- they have now moved to Tampa Bay and have started their family. Megan is 32 weeks pregnant with her second little boy and asked me to come down for a maternity session. They are actually doing a Baby’s First Year package so you will get to meet her little one this summer and watch him and his big brother grow up her on the blog!

On Mother’s Day my family made the trip to Tampa Bay for this session- and we had a blast! We met at Ballast Point Park which is right on Tampa Bay with a gorgeous view of the city skyline. Here are just a few favorites from their session.

E Family it was great to see you guys again! I can’t wait to meet little W when he makes his arrival!

This session was really special to me because it was the family that I nominated for the Giving is Awesome campaign. Sandi had been saving money to have a session with Sweet Serendipity Photography adn then learned that her mother was diagnosed with cancer. She planned to instead purchase a session with her siblings and her mother so that her mom could have professional pictures of her family before she began radiation and chemotherapy. We met earlier this week (on one of the coldest days I can remember!) for their session at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens. It was so cold, in fact, that the gardens had all of their plants covered to protect them from the freeze. We found a few pretty spots for these pictures.

Mr. and Mrs. W were married this past summer and as a wedding gift for them one of their friends purchased a gift certificate from Sweet Serendipity Photography. The W family wanted to use their certificate to get some family holiday photos so we met this morning at the Thomas Center for our session. They have the most adorable little girl and we had a great time walking the grounds of the Thomas Center and picking out spots for their photos.

This past Sunday I met with the cutest family in downtown Alachua for their photo session. Not only are they all stunning, but they are also one of the nicest families I have ever met. Their little one was an absolute doll to photograph! And would you believe that Mom is 5 months pregnant with twins? I don’t know where she is hiding those babies but I DO know I can’t wait to meet them in February!

It was great to finally meet you S Family! I look forward to meeting the new additions to your family in 2010 as well! Hope you enjoy the sneak peek!
