This weeks featured vendor has quite possibly the greatest business concept that you can think of. She runs a business that focuses on reselling used jewelry and high end pocketbooks. Tell us a bit about yourself…
My name is Sheena Asbell and I own & operate Haile Jewelry and Loans. I am a Gainesville native, or as I learned when I attended the University of Florida an “ACR” I attended elementary, middle and high school all right here in Alachua County and graduated from UF in 2004. I’m married to my high school sweetheart and we are the proud guardians of our niece who is a Buchholz Senior this year! I come from a very small family that taught me my strong work ethic, honesty and loyalty! I’m extremely passionate about my community and work as hard as possible to give back to charities right here in Alachua County!

- What got you started in your business?
My husband got me started in this business. He has been in the pawn industry since 2005 and we opened Haile Jewelry and Loans in 2009 to acomodate the ladies desire for Designer Handbags & Jewelry at a “Pre-Loved” price! We refer to this location as the girls version of a pawnshop as our show room only displays Handbags and Jewelry even though we take electronics, tools, musical instruments and many other treasures! This store fits my personality perfect as I am a label junkie and live for items such as Louis Vuitton!!

If you were stranded on a deserted island and could only have three things what would they be?

If I was stranded on a Deserted Island I would need my Husband, my Blackberry (I am a crackberry at heart!) and my Louis Vuitton’s of course!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years I see myself with a family and working hard yet playing harder!

Hi! I’m Rebecca Cain. I live in Gainesville with my husband Austin and our son Cason who you can see on Jaime’s blog ) Life is a tad busy around here chasing a 14 month old and running two businesses out of our home but we do what we love and love what we do so it’s all worth it!

- What got you started in your business?
I started with Thirty-One Gifts because I was working a job that I hated and really wanted something different for my life. I began selling Thirty-One when my husband and I were engaged and thinking about our future. I wanted to be able to be a stay at home mom and raise our children. It’s done more for me than that. My team started with just me in April of 2009 and has grown to nearly 600 women who all can tell stories of their lives being changed because of the opportunity that this company gave them. I didn’t realize that in making myself a stay at home mom – others would be able to realize the same dream.

If you were stranded on a deserted island and could only have three things what would they be?

Oh my… Well… I’m guessing I’d be stranded with my family, right? I’d say my iPhone, bugaboo stroller and Publix sweet tea. Aside from my family, these are three of my favorite things!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully living in our dream home that we’ll begin building next year with a semi-retired husband ) (<-- He sure hopes so!)

I am so very, very excited to introduce you to Sweet Serendipity Photography’s newest team member. Adrianna is an aspiring photographer who has come on board as my new intern for the Summer and Fall of 2011. She shoots a Nikon D700 (I’ll forgive her for that one!) and loves everything to do with babies and weddings. It has been so wonderful having her around at sessions and weddings and I can’t wait for you all to meet her.

While at Flagler Beach a few weeks ago for a family session we took about 5 minutes to snap some quick photos of her. Isn’t she adorable?!

So there are many, many, many reasons why I love my clients…. and I especially love when they come back for yearly sessions and I get to watch their little ones grow up. I first started photographing the H Family’s children almost two years ago and I look forward to our sessions because I get to see how big the kids are getting! Last year we did their summer session at their home, and this year we decided to head out to the wildflower field for their family photos. Here are a few favorites from their session.
