The music was too loud in a neighboring apartment, so Nicole (who was visiting her cousin) offered to go ask the neighbors to turn it down. Chad (who was visiting a friend) happened to answer the door. Not only did he agree to turn the music down, but also invited Nicole inside for a drink. The rest, as they say, is history. The two will be married this November in a destination wedding at the Boca Grande Club. We met this past weekend for engagement photos at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens in Gainesville.

More from Anna and Justin’s beautiful wedding last weekend. I am slowly making my way through the galleries, so wanted to share some of the beautiful bride and groom. I love when couples are easy going and are up for anything. From talking with Anna about her wedding in Downtown Alachua I had so many ideas in my head that I wanted to try with them, and I am blessed with clients who are wiling to let me try some new things. Here are some of my favorites of the bride and groom!

Love these little moments- immediately after the ceremony when they are just enjoying being husband and wife.

Since we were in Alachua, home of the infamous railroad tracks, Anna and Justin wanted to head out there for some of their pictures.

Downtown Alachua has some of the most amazing architecture in this area. The contrast of the archway and the brick with their wedding garb amazes me.

Anna and Justin are one of those super fun couples that once you meet you instantly fall in love with. They are lots of fun and that spilled over into every aspect of their wedding. They also proved that you can pull off an amazing wedding with beautiful details on a small budget. To give you an idea, their photography was around 25% of their budget and looking at their ceremony and reception it looked like a million dollar event. It also helped that their entire family came together to help with the planning, designing and executing of all of the details.

Anna and Justin trusted completely in their friends and family to do the decorating of the Alachua Women’s Club for their event. In fact, neither one of them actually saw the venue decorated until just moments before they were to walk down the aisle!

Cake: The groom’s mother designed AND created this amazing cake- a talent she learned by taking a cake decorating class offered by Michaels! She even made this ADORABLE cake topper which was an exact replica of their shoes!

One of the many new and exciting projects we have planned for 2010 is a photobooth to add a fun way to get pictures of all the guests at weddings. Anna heard we were working on the plans for it and wanted to give it a whirl at her wedding this past weekend. She even brought an AMAZING frame she found on sale at Goodwill to use in the pictures. These pictures will all be available in her gallery for purchase, but we also loaded them onto the Facebook Fan Page for guests to see and tag themselves in. Anna and Justin are tying the knot in November and we met this past weekend in the beautiful, historic downtown Micanopy. It was an overcast, gloomy morning which proved to be perfect light for this urban style session.

I think that Anna is going to make such a gorgeous bride, don’t you agree?

And the groom isn’t too shabby either.

Love the historic buildings in the background! The colors were so vibrant.

Anna and Justin have a 6 month old daughter who joined us for the second half of our session.
