Andrea and Ray are high school sweethearts who are now planning their April 2012 wedding at the University Auditorium on the campus of the University of Florida. They knew they wanted their engagement session to take place on campus as well because of their love of the different architectural designs that UF has to offer. I, of course, was more than happy to oblige because sessions on campus are some of my favorites! We hit a few different locations on campus- starting at the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium and ending up at the Baughman Center by Lake Alice. I don’t think we stopped chatting and laughing during our entire session. I can’t wait to photograph this wedding because everything they have planned seems like so much fun!

Janeen and Ryan are planning a May wedding in Clearwater Beach but knew that they wanted to do an engagement session on the campus of University of Florida. They met while in undergraduate school at UF and then dated while he went on to law school and she went to medical school, both at UF. We visited some of their favorite spots on campus during out session and finished with sunset at Lake Alice.

So this session has been a LONG time coming! It seemed every time we had a date schedule it rained, someone was sick, it rained, it rained, it rained…… so finally we said let’s wait it out until the Fall. And I am SO glad that we did….. because yesterday was nothing short of spectacular on the campus of the University of Florida. Okay so there is something so adorable about little baby boys in overalls. Well, any baby in overalls is adorable… but something about baby boys and their denim overalls is so absolutely adorable it makes me melt! Baby Owen’s parents chose wisely when they dressed him for our session! Here are a few favorites from our session at Lake Alice on the UF Campus.

I couldn’t help but get teary eyed going back through some of the photos from Jennifer and Allen’s wedding earlier this month. I decided to add a few more of my favorites from their ceremony, and be sure to check out their wedding day slideshow at the end!

I have known Allen for several years. He was actually one of my instructors in paramedic school and is now the Lieutenant on the engine at the fire station where I work as the Lieutenant on the ambulance. When he asked me to photograph his upcoming wedding I was absolutely honored to be asked. Allen is a photographer himself and does a lot of work for the University of Florida volleyball, gymnastics and baseball teams. He and Jennifer scoped out the lighting at the UF Baughman Center where the had their wedding planned so that their photos would be taken at the perfect moment.

The morning of their wedding started with overcast skies and I was a bit worried about the forecast for the day but by early afternoon the sun had come out and it was a gorgeous day. Jennifer and Allen’s wedding ceremony was lovely and intimate as it was attended by just close friends and family.

Hard to believe Carter is already 6 months old! It feels like just yesterday that I was doing his newborn session. He is oh so adorable and such a ham for the camera! We met last week for his 6 month session at Lake Alice on UF campus. Here are a few favorites from our session.

His Mom and Grandma came along for the session and brought a trunk full of super cute outfits for his session.  Carter is such a well dressed little guy!

While Yvi and Bryan met during her senior year of high school it wasn’t until after she graduated that she decided to give this well known “ladies man” a chance. He soon asked her to be his girlfriend and, as she says, “it was love after that!” The two are planning a “crazy Cuban/Irish country wedding” for May 2, 2010. This couple is so laid back and lots of fun to be around so I knew their engagement session would be a great time. We had to reschedule several times over the last few months due to the rainy weather but finally had a day a few weeks ago where we were able to meet for their photos. While it had been overcast and gloomy most of the day the sun did peek through at the very end of their session.

Check out the bling. Yvi said Bryan picked it all by himself- he did a great job!
