When Lindsey contacted me and asked me to photograph the birth of her and Adam’s daughter Nora I was so incredibly honored! Birth photography is something I have always loved and the fact that someone wanted me to capture that intimate moment for them was truly a blessing.
I came to the hospital early on the morning of Lindsey’s scheduled induction to meet her and Adam. I can honestly say that I was not even there for five minutes before I felt like part of the family. Lindsey, Adam, and their extended families were so welcoming and loving that I knew immediately little Nora was going to be one lucky little girl.
Poor Lindsey had to close to 14 hours of active labor and an hour and a half of pushing before Miss Nora was born at 1:18 AM on July 24th. She had a full head of gorgeous black hair and was so calm and alert you would never guess the ordeal that she had been though to make her arrival!
Thank you so much Lindsey, Adam and the Gardner/ Taylor families….. it was such a pleasure meeting you all and capturing the most special day of your lives. Congratulations on a beautiful, healthy little girl and I can’t wait to do her newborn photos!
