Whitney and Kris | O’Leno State Park Engagement Session

Whitney and Kris met while attending college at Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville. Ever since they met the two have been inseparable and Kris planned the perfect proposal. After dinner at their favorite Mexican resturaunt in Jacksonville Beach and a walk on the beach, Kris pulled out a Cracker Jack box and mentioned that rings no longer come in Cracker Jack boxes…. and then he pulled out a ring box and asked her to marry him. Whitney said yes, and the two are planning a wedding for Fall of 2016.

We met at O’Leno State Park in High Springs, FL for their engagement photography session. Whitney had grown up camping at O’Leno and was so excited to share the gorgeous scenery with Kris and myself. Whitney is actually a landscape photographer herself, so she definitely had an eye for the locations that she wanted to incorporate into their photos. The couple brought along their adorable puppy Zoey for some photos.
